These classes are for the beginning genealogist.  We will illustrate paper documents and how to fill them out. This is the first step in acquiring and organizing your information. We will discuss where to find information and put it together. A description of often used terminology will be given so you can understand what genealogical terms mean. You will be informed about some of the many records available today and the information they contain. We will also discuss the Family Search website, www.familysearch.org. and www.Ancestry.com to see the many databases they have. Two hours.
