The topics for this presentation will include 1) Purpose of a DNA Test, 2) Chemistry and Biology of DNA, 3) Use of Y-chromosome for your surname, 4) Use of autosomal (at) for connections to cousins, 5) Use of mitochondrial (mt) DNA for connection to your mother’s line, 6) Description of various companies offering DNA analysis,  7) Use of third party GED Match, 8) Importance of paper research.  I will give examples from my own DNA work and there will be plenty of time for questions.
